[CSGO] Hotfix – Flash Reduction – 21st March 2017

This morning a minor CSGO update was released that affected our reduced flash feature, either preventing it from working or freezing the game. The root cause has now been determined and the issue is resolved.

There was a bigger change than anticipated in the latest CSGO update, directly affecting a component of how our reduced-flash feature works. We have adjusted our post-game-update calibration process accordingly to accommodate the change and we can no longer reproduce this issue. This fix is live effective immediately, no update of the CSGO Advantage Tool is required.

If you experience any further issues or notice anything unusual, please let us know in case we aren’t already aware of it. Many thanks to the users who reported this issue and surrounding context as soon as it arose.

[CSGO] The Weapon Configuration Update – 19th March 2017

The Weapon Configuration Update

We’re calling this week’s update for our CSGO Hack for Mac, the weapon configuration update!

Shortly after we released our CSGO Advantage Tool in January, we opened the doors to the configuration galore that is version 2.2.23 of our CSGO Multihack. This gave you the power to customize and tweak both the performance and behaviour of individual features within our CSGO Advantage Tool.

Today’s update refurbished this configuration galore and vastly improved the potential of our TriggerBot functionality. The developments that lead to this open new doors of exciting features we’ll work on next, such as a quickscoping feature (for those ex-COD players out there), and much more. But for now, here are the upgrade notes:

Enhancements

  • TriggerBot: Added weapon recognition grouped by weapon type: Grenades, C4, Knives, Zeus, Pistols, slowFire weapons, shotguns, snipers, SMGs & and assault rifles, and last but not least, HMGs.
    • That’s right, with slowFire the revolver is now usable and extremely fun!
  • TriggerBot: Added a configurable burst-fire option.
  • TriggerBot: Added configurable fire-style per weapon group:
    • Ignore
    • Single Fire
    • Burst Fire
  • TriggerBot: Added handler to prevent triggerbot from interfering if player is already shooting (mouse-click is held).

Fixes

  • TriggerBot: Refined single-fire logic, allowing slow-fire weapons to be used (i.e. revolver).
    • The TriggerBot now fires long enough to fire revolvers when weapon recognition is enabled.
  • Calibration: Added logic to prompt user if the game version couldn’t be read for any reason. This will be handled more gracefully in a future update.

New Settings

  • Added setting to control whether weapon recognition is enabled.
    • Enabling weapon recognition might increase CPU usage slightly, but allows for a much refined and controllable TriggerBot experience.
  • Added settings to configure fire-style per weapon group.
  • Added setting to configure delays between fire bursts.
    • Reducing this delay makes burst-fire seem more like full-auto fire.
    • Increasing this delay makes burst-fire more controllable and precise, even at longer distances.
  • Added setting to configure number of shots fired per burst.

We strongly believe in empowering our users to how their Advantage Tool behaves. No CPU usage is wasted – we hate lag and FPS drops as much as the next gamer, so you have the power of tweaking and controlling every tweakable component of each and every feature.

As with the rest of our tool, all interface settings are remembered between launches. Tweak and tune your tool to perfection, and then any launch from that it’ll be ready to go without further configuration.

Before you get started

with the new update, if you’re having issues getting the burst-fire to actually burst, I recommend making a note of any tweaks you’ve made and trying the “Reset Saved Features” option from Tools in the menubar.

We’ve tweaked our default settings, some of which were tweaked to improve the burst fire option to a sweet-spot, the rest were tweaked based on recommendations from customers such as yourself.

As always, thank you for all the feedback (and the financial support)! We’re still full of tons of ideas, including a truly nifty quickscope feature to really ramp up the CSGO trickshot scene. If you have suggestions or ideas, or just want to share your feedback, please let us know!

Without further ado, version 2.2.25 of our CSGO Advantage Tool is now live with the weapon configuration update! Grab it from the download page using your activation details, or use the auto-update feature within your tool.

[CSGO][COD4] Bug Fixes – 20th February 2017

This week’s fixes encompass both our Advantage Tool for Counter Strike Global Offensive, and our Advantage Tool for Call of Duty 4. Details on both updates are found below.

The Advantage Tool for CSGO

Your feedback since the release of our CSGO Hack for Mac has been extremely valuable, and we’re working hard on both fixes and improvements. The following are the changes released this week, applicable to the CSGO version of our Advantage Tool. These changes are available as of version 2.2.24 of our CSGO Hack for Mac:

Fixes

  • Corrected a recursion in the game detection engine, normally triggered to check if the game is already running after the tool is launched.
  • Corrected null or vague warning alerts, such as the null #TC7 error thrown after the game received an update and our recalibration process isn’t yet complete.
    • This should now display a more detailed and helpful message if something doesn’t go as expected.
    • Note that with each CSGO update we have to recalibrate our services. This is still a manual process, but we’re working to streamline and automate this in future.
  • Corrected a miscalibration issue affecting some Macs, resulting in partially functioning or nonfunctioning features.

Enhancements

  • Improved performance and reduced CPU usage for TriggerBot, when TriggerBot is enabled but CAPS lock isn’t enabled.
  • Slight performance tuning in overall TriggerBot engine.

New Settings

  • Exposed a setting to control whether TriggerBot requires CAPS lock to be enabled.
    • Some users have reported dislike for the CAPS lock requirement, this feature allows users to disable it.
    • This CAPS lock requirement for the TriggerBot is enabled by default as it gives a visual view over whether the TriggerBot is currently enabled, as well as an intuitive quick-toggle when it isn’t needed.

The Advantage Tool for COD4

The following are the changes released this week, applicable to the Call of Duty 4 version of our Advantage Tool. These are bundled into version 2.2.9 of our COD4 Hack for Mac. Many under-the-hood APIs have been updated for improved performance and reliability. Thank you to the users who have reported some of the issues addressed in this release.

Fixes

  • Corrected a miscalibration issue affecting some Macs, resulting in partially functioning or nonfunctioning features.
  • Corrected no-recoil and anti-spread not working as expected on some machines.
  • Fixed rare crashes during activation process.
  • Fixed rare crashes when attempting to use the Easy Account Generator, after the tool entered an unexpected state.
  • Fixed rare crash of Call of Duty 4, after tool attempts to incorrectly calibrate against the game.
  • Fixed rare crash when attempting to use in-app contact form after game has closed.

Enhancements

  • Updated deprecated under-the-hood APIs.
  • Updated networking APIs used for server communications during calibration process.
  • Improved performance while tool was left in background for longer periods of time, while playing.

Footnotes

As a Mac Game Hacks member with an active license, you are entitled to full access to our currently public advantage tools. You can download the latest version of each respective tool from the members page:

Please contact us if you have any questions or issues.

Error “(null) (Error: TC#7)” is thrown when the CSGO Advantage Tool detects CSGO

We’re aware of the CSGO Advantage Tool occasionally displaying the following error after it detects CSGO: “(null) (Error: TC#7)”.

If you see error TC#7 it means that CSGO has been updated and our recalibration is not yet complete. The calibration process is not yet fully automated when a new version of CSGO is released for Mac.

We’re working to automate this process in future, although note that the calibration process can take some time depending on the time needed to download the update and if any issues arise during the recalibration on our side. If this error continues to display after several minutes have passed, please contact us for more information.

Error TC#7 is supposed to display a more meaningful message, so that it’s clear why the error has happened, and we will correct this in the next release to hopefully alleviate any confusion arising from this.
