Scheduled Maintenance 2014/01/03

As part of our commitment to provide quality services, we have scheduled an upgrade affecting a server that processes activations for the tool. The details are as follows:

Scheduled Date and Time:

2014/01/03 22:00:00 (10:oo PM EDT)

Maintenance Type:

In order to provide our customers with a better service, we will be upgrading a switch this server is connected to, as well as part of the server hardware.

Estimated Downtime:

We understand the importance of minimal downtime when performing maintenance of any kind and for this reason we will do what we can to expedite the procedure. As it stands now we estimate no more than 25 – 45 minutes of downtime for this to be completed, and it may actually be less than that.

We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us via email or using the support form.

Warm Regards (and Happy New Year!),

The MGH Team

Our network provider has informed us that they are scheduling network maintenance later this week. Details are as follows:

Scheduled Date and time:
October 11, 2013 at 22:00 (10 PM EDT) through October 12, 2013 at 06:00 (6 AM EDT)

Maintenance Time Frame:
8 Hours from beginning to end

Maintenance Type:
In order to increase the reliability of our network, our Admins will be performing maintenance to our core routers and relocating a majority of of our transit provider fiber.

Estimated Downtime:
We understand the importance of minimizing any downtime associated with maintenance and for this reason we will do everything we can to expedite the process. As it stands now, the maintenance window is 8 hours and while no actual downtime is expected, you may encounter times of increased latency and minor packet loss while routes to our facilities converge. We will have our senior admins on site for this project to avoid any serious issues and we do not foresee any issues lasting longer than the aforementioned maintenance time frame.

If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us using our support form, which will not be affected.

Kind regards,

Short downtime on Friday 4th October, existing members not affected.

Dear Members,

We experienced a brief moment of downtime on Friday. This happened due to a malfunctioning switch unit in our provider’s infrastructure, which has now been rectified. We have been reassured that the issue is not expected to happen again anytime soon, and that the switch unit will be monitored closely.

EDIT (8th October): The malfunctioning switch unit has now been replaced.

Only the front sites (macgamehacks.com & callofduty4machacks.com) were affected, allowing our existing members to continue using the tool as normal.

If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us using our support form.

Kind regards,

The MGH Team

PayPal – Issues resolved!

Update 3rd July: We’re pleased to announce that PayPal have informed us the issues have been fixed.

PayPal appears to be experiencing a temporary delay in processing transactions in their system, resulting in late notifications of new purchases. While our system waits for a notification from PayPal, some transactions may take up to 10 minutes to process.

If you have made a purchase or extended your membership, and have not yet received your confirmation from us, please allow up to 10 minutes for this transaction to be processed. If it takes longer, please contact us immediately and we will look into it as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience caused in the delay.

Update 2nd July: PayPal have confirmed technical issues on their side. There are no problems in processing payments, but there is a slight delay between purchases and how soon purchases are processed. This delay is a maximum of 15 minutes, and they are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We will update this post as soon as we have further information. If you have any questions, please contact us via the email above.
